
TRAIN THE COACH
Starting in September 2011, P.S.D.C.I. (Personal Skills Development Consultants International) will be running in Bucharest the new Process Communication Model ® Train the Coach series of workshops.
Upon completion of the training you may use profiles as a part of your coaching practice. PCM Coach training is recognised by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as continuous training. The training is intended for consultants and coaches, already trained in coaching skills who wish to use another model to add the next level of sophistication to their practice. The prerequisite to beginning this training is that you must already be working as a coach legally under the laws of Romania. Once you have completed the workshops, you will become a certified Process Communication Coach.
The dates are as follows:
Module One: Introduction
Introductory PCM Workshop. Duration: three days. Hours: 9,00-17,00.
This workshop is for those who wish to deepen their communication skills and is also a prerequisite for the Train the Trainer / Train the Coach series. The workshop covers all the fundamentals of the Process Communication model. The methods are didactic, experiential exercises, group discussion and coaching on application. By the end of the workshop you will be able to apply the principles of PCM in your work and private relationships.
Fees for the three days as a standalone workshop: €900.
Module Two: Train the Coach. Duration: four days. Hours: 9,00-17,00.
Process Coaching Application seminar: four days of intensive training to learn how to apply PCM in individual coaching.
Content of module Two:
Statistical validity of the results: managing questions about the results of the PPI
Observation of the process: Assessing matrix, Personality Strengths, Personality Parts, Perceptual frame of reference, Drivers, Training with video
Observation of content: the 6 questions about content to identify Base and Current Phase
Coaching case with PPI: Small group work; analysis of the situation (Key Issue) and possible coaching strategies. Role play with the following observation grid: Life position, Communication Channel + Perceptual frame of reference, Interaction Style, Relevance of the intervention
Coaching with live supervision (I): Assessment on accuracy of interventions (Channel, Perceptions and Psychological Needs)
Presentation of the Phasing Issues. The Workaholic; Harmonizer; Persister; Rebel;
Dreamer and Promoter Types With Movie clips to illustrate Phasing Issues
Coaching with live supervision (II): Assessment on accuracy of interventions (Channel, Perceptions and Psychological Needs)
Transference process: The nature of transference and how to avoid it: Personal Exercise regarding satisfying the psychological needs of the Coach
Causes and Mechanism of a Phase Change: Stages of Development
Live coaching with supervision and observation grid: Coaching sessions with live supervision under exam conditions.
Supervision sessions: dates to be agreed individually: after completing steps 1 and 2 above, coaches deliver three coaching sessions using the Personality Pattern Inventory. They then take supervision on each session from a certified PCM Trainer and Coach.
One day of examination and certification, plus one day of advanced training.
Examination: date to be agreed with the group: after successfully completing the above program including the three supervision sessions, candidates attend an examination to gain the title PCM Coach Accreditation. This process will usually take two days; one day of exams, plus one day of advanced training.
The workshops will take place in Bucharest at a hotel/conference centre to be advised later.
Maximum number of students: 16
